Recently, Mata Amritanandamayi Math (organization) announced $23 million to the victims of 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami for reconstruction projects in India & Sri Lanka.

The Math (organization) also executes various charitable and humanitarian projects.

Inside United States: 'Mother's Kitchen' or 'vegetarian soup-kitchens' center volunteers provide hundreds of meals to the inner city poor. This program is expanding rapidly across the Country.

Outside United States:  A program to build 25,000 homes for the poor, women's shelters, pension disbursements for widows, orphanages, hospices, hospitals, and community aid centers, homes for the aged, eye clinics, speech therapy centers in India and Outside of India, are examples.
